The Western Swallowtail Butterfly can be found throughout the western United States and in Canada. They are often seen in gardens, along woodland edges and streams.   The caterpillars use trees as their host plants which include: Alders, Aspens, Ashes  Cottonwood, Poplars, and Willows. They are often seen in the Western US in gardens full of blooms.

These beautiful Butterfly items are beautifully handcrafted from recycled plastic 2-liter bottles by our artisan Stephanie Sullivan from Northern California. This is a made-to-order item and will be shipped within one week.
