The California Sister (Adelpha bredowii) is a dark, medium sized butterfly with rounded wings. It features a white band across the center of the wings, and orange tips on the forewings. The butterfly is commonly found in oak woodlands, and can be seen in West Texas and other locales. Has similar markings and coloration to the Arizona Sister.
