California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) aka known as a Cup of Gold! This is the state flower for California and is native to the northwestern United States. This plant can be found throughout most of North America and throughout Europe. This plant works well as a ground cover and has fire retardant properties. The entire plant is edible and is used for relaxation, to treat insomnia, aches, anxiety, and help with diseases of the bladder and liver.
California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) can be found growing alongside highways, ditches and open fields. This plant does best in full sun and is very drought-tolerant. It pairs well with Desert Bluebells, Black Sage, Narrowleaf Milkweed and more.
